My name is Jill and I live in New York City. After much encouragement from my husband, Trey, hello amazing was created as an endeavor to gather and share my love for all things beautiful and (hopefully!) ...amazing. Taking style cues from shelter magazines, fashion, art, and all the amazing design blogs, I love assembling a cozy way of life and a home friends and family love to visit.  Interior design and styling have always made me want to explore, to create, and to dream.  I hope you enjoy my blog and share it with your friends!

We also have a circa 1770's house in the Berkshires, and when we don't rent it, we love to leave behind the fast pace of the city for the familiar country roads that lead to our quiet retreat. More often than not, our weekends of planned idle relaxation turn into extended days and nights of never-ending labors of love. Painting, mulching, updating (and decorating!) are among the many efforts and I hope you enjoy following along our adventures in "the weekend project: country living."
