Fat Freddy's Drop - the soundtrack to all our Costa Rica vacations.  I never get tired of this album!

**A Bow to Bloggers...never in a million years did I think I would start my own blog when I collected images from all my favorite design blogs as inspiration for my own home and life.  For untagged images, I would love to give credit where credit is due.  If you spot an image from your blog, please notify me so I can link back to your original post.  A very gracious Merci! to each of you for your inspiration.

Brilliant, bespoke sticker wallpaper.

Sticker wallpaper...now why didn't I think of that?  This looks like such a fun, creative project with endless possibilities.  Probably a little cost-prohibitive because it requires thousands of stickers, but if you limited the installation to a small accent wall it could be doable.  Payton Cosell Turner is the artist behind these bespoke wallcoverings and you can find more of her work HERE.

Give your home some personality with affordable (gorgeous!) art.

This makes thinking about art for your home pretty simple...all of these pieces are amazing.  For me, the only challenging part is deciding which one to get because I want them all!  Even better, you can purchase each print in 4 different sizes, the largest at 48 x 36.

All art is reproduced as Giclée archival prints using pigmented inks on acid free paper.  Giclée printing is superior to traditional lithography, the colours are brighter, last longer and are higher resolution with continuous tone (rather than tiny dots used in standard printing).

The best part?  All under $100.  Maybe I can get them all???  Click HERE to shop Cozamia.

Gilded Age meets 21st Century

Whew...taking care of last minute life details when you have a one-week countdown to a new infant can keep one busy.  For now, back to the blog!

I really enjoyed the contradiction of the Gilded Age architectural details in this Gold Coast apartment with modern additions like art, furniture and kitchen appliances.

If you haven't checked out the most recent issue of Lonny, I briefly combed through it and chose a few of my favorite images.  Enjoy!

As an unbelievably talented artist working with a palette of make up for over 25 years, my dear friend Wei has truly developed a passion for skin care and an expertise in cutting-edge technology and science of beauty.  Her vast knowledge and experience comes from years of working with models of every age, ethnicity, and skin type and Wei is skilled at creating individually customized make up applications for every woman. Now, the two worlds of make up and skin care come together in one space...Wei Lang Spa.

Wei’s heritage is rooted in the Chinese tradition. Asia has a long history in exploring new and natural ways to treat and beautify the skin. While this is one way that Wei approaches skin care, she seamlessly combines this philosophy with the most current dermatologic innovations to maximize immediate visible benefits.  Wei’s passion and understanding of these new technologies gives her clientele an unparalleled beauty spa experience.
